Juanita Sophia McCollister, age 24, died in a Eureka hospital Thursday after a short illness. She was born September 9, 1931 in Oregon. She was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose, Ladies Auxiliary, Roseburg, Oregon.
She is survived by her husband, Donald G. McCollister, of Korbel; also the following children, Glenn, Barbara, Diana, Donna, Richard, all of Korbel; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Woods, Korbel; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. R. C. Reierson, of Lowell, Oregon; a sister, Mrs. Stephen Barnett, Redwood City, California, a brother, Donald A. Shaw, Roseburg, Oregon, and a sister, Bertha Woods, Korbel; several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles survive.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 1:30 at Paul's Funeral Chapel in Arcata. Interment will be at Sunset Memorial Park.
