Abraham Lake
- Marriage (1): Bridget Best
General Notes:
Facebook posting Michael Collins As far as i know, "our" Lakes were from Presque. Patrick lived in Mahaney's Cove, then moved to St.Kyran's, where he died. He had a brother John who moved to Branch. There are no Lakes in Branch as John had one son, who died as a teenager. He had two daughters. one married a Nash and the other married a Downey. John is buried in Branch. Their sister Mary married my grandfather, Peter Collins. Whether or not we are related to Mr.Paddy Lake, I don't know for sure. I've read that all Lakes in NL are from the same family, so based on that we are related somewhere along the line.
