research of Mark Moore [Rootsweb Message board Dec 2006] "The information that I have (family history) is that Rose was Rosella Boardway, daughter of Oliver Boardway and Margaret (Duclos?). She was born May 3, 1849 in Franconia, NH. She died in 1939 in Massachusetts. Moses is a little harder to track. I have his date of birth as April 24, 1850 and he died in Vermont in 1905 (possibly January 5.) According to family stories, he was run over by a trolley in St. Johnsbury (I believe). I have not yet gotten to Vermont to try and find a death certificate for him. Again, family history says the family name was De La Vinge (or similar) and was changed during the immigration process. I am curious about your reference to Frank's marriage to Matilda Straw. Frank was my great-grandfather and he married Mary Matilda Marcell (also known as Matilda or Tillie). She was living with her aunt, Leah Abigail Strew by 1900 and family history states that her father Paul and mother Emma Placey died about 1896 but no cause is mentioned."
Moses married Rosella Boardway, daughter of Oliver Boardway and Marguerite Duclos, on 20 Sep 1871 in Charleston, Vermont. (Rosella Boardway was born on 3 May 1849 in Franconia, Grafton County, New Hampshire, died in 1939 in Massachusetts and was buried in Pinehurst Cemetery in Ryegate, Caledonia County, Vermont.)
