of Deerfield, Iowa.

Joseph married Sarah Dudley, daughter of Samuel Dudley and Lydia Parshley, on 20 Nov 1823 in New Durham, Strafford County, New Hampshire. (Sarah Dudley was born about 1796 in Alton, Belknap County, New Hampshire, died in 1882 in Deerfield, Chickasaw County, Iowa and was buried in Deerfield Cemetery - Chickasaw County, Iowa.)
