Luther Franklin Straw died Tuesday in a Portland hospital after a short illness.
Born in Newfield, he was the son of Arthur J and Mary Roberts Straw. He was a graduate of Limerick HS and Gray's Business College.
Mr. Straw retired from Saunders Bros of Westbrook in 1959 after many years of employment.
Survivors include his wife, Laura Tripp Straw of Gorham; two sisters; Marion Prescott of So. Portland and Lillian Butler of Gloucester, MA; four grandchildren and a great grandson.
A memorial service will be held at 7 PM Thursday at the Neal and York Funeral home, 76 State St, the Rev Chandler Holmes officiating.
