1880 census Mifflin, OH - " Flavia" is age 64 and widow ailing with consumption. In HH are:
[son] Wm Straw age 25 a farmer and her daughter Mary E. Straw age 22. also in HH are 2 boarders: James Archy age 34 born OH and Wm Leven age 22 born OH. their occ: laborer.

Also found Emma E. Straw Malifsky born 1857; died 6 Oct 1908 and bur in Oak Hill Cem; Crane twp, OH; also in same plot (D-65) is Charles Malifsky 1860-5 Jan 1927 ( s/o Martin and Mary Malifsky born Austria) and Frank Charles Malifsky died 1 June 1891 at age 12 days
Also buried in plot are Stella Mae Malifsky Thompson ( dau) born c1894 and died 3 Jan 1974 age 80y and her husband Harry Thompson born c1891 and died 9 June 1964 age 73y. Also Gail F. Thompson with no dates.

"The funeral of Mrs Mary Emma Mallifsky was held from the Brownstown Church Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock and was conducted by Rev. H. S. Smith. the church choir sang several selections. The pallbearers were George Frank, George Binau, George Norris, Levi Burkey; David Bower and Henry Stansberry.Burial in Oak Hill Cemetery."
