bullet  General Notes:

Jeremiah Flanders resided in South Hampton in 1776, and refused to sign
the Association Test. Later he removed to Hopkington, and signed a petition
there in 1789, protesting against the ordination of the Rev Jacob Cram, who
was not popular with the townspeople because of his religious views.
