Ida "June" Fries, 61, of Kansas City, KS, died Sunday, June 25, 2000, at the Baptist Medical Center. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday, June 29, at the Porter Funeral Home; burial in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. June was born November 16, 1938, in Colgate, OK, and had lived most of her life in Kansas City, KS. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, James E. Fries, of the home; two sons, James E. Fries, Jr., Timmy G. Fries; three daughters, Lynn Mills, Betty J. Beach, all of Kansas City, KS; and Joyce Pressnell, Climax Springs, MO; and a brother, David Ray Wyrick, Granite, OK; 10 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
