Cyrus married Elizabeth Scagel, daughter of Jacob Scagel and Elizabeth (Betsey) Dalton, on 5 Mar 1821. (Elizabeth Scagel was born in 1804 in Stanbridge, Quebec, Canada, died on 11 Nov 1888 and was buried in St Stephen's Anglican Cem; Buckingham, Que.)
