Margaret Flynn

"Margaret moved to Merasheen with Bride when Walter died. After that she divided her time between Lucy's and Min's until she went to St. Patrick's Mercy Home January 22, 1965. Buried in Mount Carmel Cemetery, St. John's......I have searched through the cemetery but cannot find a marker for Grandma. I expect only a wooden cross was erected....The building on Mount Carmel site burned a number of years ago with all records being lost.....Phyllis remembers being at the funeral and can describe the general area of burial...but that whole section is now bare..."

Margaret married Walter Connors, son of Thomas O'Connor and Catherine Culledon, on 7 Jan 1896 in St. Kyran's, Newfoundland. (Walter Connors was born on 15 Oct 1866 in Grandys Point, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada, died circa 1948 in Clattice Harbor NW, Placentia Bay, Newfoundland, Canada and was buried in Unknown.)
