Sara M. "Sally" Jacobs 75 passed away in home of her son Dennis on 21 Sept 1991. Born 7 Sept 1916 in Forsyth, MT, the daughter of Orrel and Nellie Straw and oldest of eleven children. Her family moved to Billings in 1929, Homesteading on Alkali Creek. She graduated from Billings HS in 1935...married Floyd T. Jacobs 14 March 1936 in Columbus, MT. After her four children were grown she went to work for School District 2 until she retired in 1981. She was a charter member of the Trinity Church of the Nazarene where she taught Sunday School for over 30 years. Dedicated to family and church she enjoyed gardening and sewing.
Survived by sons Dennis (Joyce) Jacobs, James (Regina) Jacobs and daughter Barbara (Mrs, Dick Dustin); also 3 brothers: James, Paul and Wilbur Straw and 6 sisters: Dorothy, Margaret, June, Jean, Winnie and Rosie; 12 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Floyd, A daughter Ruth and a sister Helen.
Services at Trinity Church of the Nazarene with Interment in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
