She was the daughter of William Jackson Straw and Elizabeth Jane Kettner. She married Virgil S. Legan on 9-9-1912 in Wellington,Sumner County, Kansas.
He disappeared in the late 1920's and was never heard from again by Mabel. Virgil died 1-4-1950 in Leonard, Shelby County, Missouri.
Mable was the sister of Andrew Jackson Straw who was my grandfather.
Mabel married Virgil Stonewall Jackson Legan, son of John W. Legan and Sarah Elizabeth Ball, on 9 Sep 1912 in Wellington, Kansas. (Virgil Stonewall Jackson Legan was born on 7 Aug 1882 in Dallas County, Missouri, died in 1950 in Leonard, Shelby County, Missouri and was buried in Mt Carmel Cemetery in Russelville, Cole County, Missouri.). The cause of his death was coronary occlusion.
