Our old Straw family bible listed also as children of William and Elizabeth. Lyman Iowen King born March 4th, 1870 and Minnie Elota King November 2, 1872. They were not their natural born children or Elizabeth's children. I figure they might have been adopted from one of the King families living in Marshall county that had died or from the orphan trains that brought orphans from the east cost. I figure Lyman Barner might have been on one of those trains as well.
addenda:
Elizabeth had two children before she married William J.Straw. The first was a son named Lyman Owen Barner born in 1868 in Clinton County, Pennsylvania. He only used the name Owen. His last name was later changed to King. Elizabeth had a daughter named Minnie Elota King in 1871.]EvaMyrick]
