FRANCONIA - Jeffrey "Jeff" Slayton Straw, 63, of Manchester, NH died after a long battle with cancer on Feb 22, 2018, at the Mittersill Chalet, his longtime family ski house in Franconia, NH. Jeff was an avid swimmer, world traveler, skier, sailor, and artist. He was born on March 16, 1954, in Manchester, NH to Ezekiel A. Straw and Margaret M. Straw.
Jeff was an attendee of Central High School, and attended New England College, UNH and graduated from the University of Montana.
Jeff loved the passion of his lineage and made continuous efforts to connect with family members all over the country. His appreciation for his ancestry was commendable and he loved spending time with his family.
He is survived by a sister, Sarah Straw, and a brother, Ezekiel A. Straw.
SERVICES: Jeff requested a family gathering in Portsmouth on a sailboat sailing into Straw's Point for his services. This date is to be determined in the spring of 2018.
