78, of Denver died Aug. 27. Memorial services were held Aug. 31 at St. James Church. He married Alma Elizabeth Garrett Oct. 15, 1940. Mr. Straw, a retired military officer and United Airlines statistician, was a member of the Denver International Lions Club and the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He earned his master's degree from the University of Denver. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Raymond of Illinois and William of California; two daughters, Mary Jeanne Drury of South Carolina and Margie Roskop of Denver; and eight grandchildren.
