  General Notes:

(papers of Mary Moore O'Connor)
Herbert and his wife Fannie and their children lived in Rensselaer, NY while he worked in a felt mill. [His son Burton tells me it was HUYCK Mill and they made luxury blankets and also some felt materials.]Mary Moore O'Connor visited them in the summer of 1925. See letters .It was Herbert who "found" his long lost brother who had run away as a teenager and changed his name. Mary Moore O'Connor states her Uncle Herb and Uncle Hiram met on a bus or trolley in Albany quite by chance and recognized each other. Uncle Herb then notified his parents and a reunion was arranged.
